DoMo First Fridays began in 2018. It came together like a mosaic— colorful components representing what our region looks like, sounds like, tastes like, and how we dance. It’s always been a labor of love, with so many hands from throughout the community holding up exactly what they want to share.

Today, it is a two-block street fair filled with handmade goods vendors, food, and craft brew and anchored by distinguished downtown restaurants and bars.
HOW TO DOMO FIRST FRIDAYS
Early birds get patio seating for people-watching.
Salsa dancer meander until 7 when the shade hits the streets—er—their dancefloor— at 10th and J Streets
Parents stretch bedtime to closing because there are games and breakdancing classes for littles, and all right by the craft brew garden.
Downtownies park further from 10th and J Streets so they can cruise by the shops and restaurants that often have something special for First Fridays.
Smarties leave their bikes at home or lock them up nearby…it’s getting a bit crowded for those.
Families dine at nearby restaurants or go straight to the food truck by the DoMo Market Booth and featured local craft brewer
Hip-hop lovers beeline to 10th and I Streets
Live music lovers park it in the Tenth Street Plaza
DoMo First Fridays is like an umbrella for any community members who wish to activate space with positivity, creativity, and culture. From pop-up dance workshops to international graffiti art mural festivals, goodness is found at First Fridays in the DoMo District.
